Job Description
Primary duties for this

relative abundance, size composition, life history, and habitat to
improve understanding of population biology and ecology of managed

parameters. It is anticipated that project results will lead to the
completion of numerous peer-reviewed publications, of which the
successful applicant will be a lead author or coauthor. The qualified
applicant will be expected to prepare reports for grant agencies,
fishery managers and other scientists, present analytical results and
represent the institute at meetings and conferences related to fisheries
research, and represent the Agency in a courteous and professional
manner at all times. The successful applicant may also suggest new
surveys and studies that complement and enhance existing surveys, with
an emphasis on connectivity between estuarine and offshore regions, and
assist in the development of proposals as needed. The qualified
applicant will be expected to work as part of a team and must also be
able to work independently without supervision. The qualified applicant
will be based at the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute in Saint
